I love you meri Jaanam, idhar to dekho ma’am.” This is how three class 12 students catcalled their teacher while recording the scene on their mobile. The students were identified as Atash, Kaif and Aman. The incident was reported in Meerut’s Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya Smarak Inter College Radhna.

The three students repeatedly harassed the teacher. In separate viral videos, the students are seen catcalling her inside the class and then again when in the ground area of the school. She looked visibly disturbed.  The boys were seen interrupting and heard saying “love you ma’am”, the teacher seemed uncomfortable with their comments and was seen avoiding those students.

When the teacher got to know about the viral video on Thursday, she approached Kithore police station and filed a complaint against three accused students. Police registered an FIR on her complaint and filed a charge sheet under sections of the IT Act.

The CO of Kithore police has come forward and informed the press that a case has been registered against the accused boys. According to reports, one of the students’ sisters, despite their shameful behaviour, supported them.

The victim has told the police that the boys have been harassing her for a long time.  The viral videos have affected her personal life. Her family and she are under huge stress because of the objectionable actions of the three students.

After the video of the incident went viral, many Twitter users came out with their takes on the incident. One user expressed their frustration saying that if educated youth behaved in such objectionable ways, what is the use of even going to school.

“Sad upbringing. These cases should be dealt head on so that other such misguided students fear to tread this path,” wrote a user on twitter.
