Yogi Adityanath To Take Oath As UP CM On March 25, PM Modi Likely To Attend

LUCKNOW: Yogi Adityanath will be sworn in as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh in a grand ceremony at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium here on March 25.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was present at the swearing-in ceremony of Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday, is likely to fly down to Lucknow to attend Yogi’s oath-taking as well.

In a press note, UP Legislative Assembly Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Dubey invited all the newly-elected legislators to attend the chief minister’s oath-taking which is scheduled to take place at 4 pm on March 25.

The MLAs of the 18th assembly will need to collect the hard copy of the invitation letter from the assembly secretariat in order to attend the ceremony, Dubey said. The assembly secretariat has directed all district magistrates to inform the newly-elected MLAs regarding the CM’s swearing-in function.
