Rekha, an iconic and esteemed figure in Bollywood, adorned the cover of the July/August 2023 issue of Vogue Arabia. Renowned for her graceful saree ensembles, the Vogue cover captivated the world as Rekha showcased her style in a stunning deep red velvet gown. Later, she transformed into an exquisite ebony saree adorned with lavish gold accents. 13. Taylor Swift- Eras Tours
Taylor Swift who was also the Person of the Year according to Time magazine stunned the audience at her Eras tour in a beautiful lilac gown for her enchanted song. The bridal company Nicole + Felicia Couture designed the dress, especially for the singer for the tour which started which started in March and is set to conclude in Decmber of next year. The dress which is adorned with crystals is nothing short of that of what you might see in a fairytale.
14. Natile Portman- Cannes
Natalie Portman donned a meticulously adorned ivory strapless gown for an event. The dress, intricately beaded and boasting a layered skirt reminiscent of a fan of eyeless peacock feathers, draws inspiration from the Junon dress that Christian Dior crafted for his 1949-1950 autumn/winter collection. Named after the Ancient Roman goddess, Juno, who was the wife of Jupiter and the patron goddess of Rome, the gown pays homage to Dior’s historical design. While the original Junon dress, created by Christian Dior, is not currently on public display, it holds a significant place in The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute collection.
15. Margot Robbie- Barbie Press Tour
Margot Robbie showcased her most glamorous Barbie-inspired look during the tour, dazzling in a black custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown. For the Los Angeles premiere of the highly-anticipated film, the actress donned a design reminiscent of the doll’s iconic ‘Solo in the Spotlight’ look from 1960.
