For the second day of the NMACC Gala, Gigi Hadid made a stunning statement in a bespoke saree by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The bridal company Nicole + Felicia Couture designed the dress, especially for the singer for the tour which started which started in March and is set to conclude in Decmber of next year. The dress which is adorned with crystals is nothing short of that of what you might see in a fairytale.

The dress, intricately beaded and boasting a layered skirt reminiscent of a fan of eyeless peacock feathers, draws inspiration from the Junon dress that Christian Dior crafted for his 1949-1950 autumn/winter collection. Named after the Ancient Roman goddess, Juno, who was the wife of Jupiter and the patron goddess of Rome, the gown pays homage to Dior’s historical design. While the original Junon dress, created by Christian Dior, is not currently on public display, it holds a significant place in The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute collection.
