NEW DELHI: Bollywood star Ranveer Singh and American pornographic actor Johnny Sins have come together for a bold new advertisement promoting men’s sexual health, in what can only be described as an unexpected crossover. The ad, created for the brand Bold Care, takes inspiration from Indian daily soap operas, featuring a traditional joint family setting with a dramatic storyline.

The ad, which is a rip-off of a typical Indian daily soap, features Ranveer Singh playing the role of an elder brother, while Johnny Sins portrays his younger brother. The plot unfolds with family turmoil as Ranveer’s character confronts Johnny’s wife, questioning her decision to leave their home. Amidst the chaos, the introduction of a capsule promising to enhance men’s sexual health and their performance becomes the turning point, persuading Johnny’s wife to reconsider her departure.

Viewers were taken aback by the unusual pairing of Ranveer Singh and Johnny Sins in an Indian commercial. Social media erupted with surprise and amusement, with users expressing disbelief and amusement at the unexpected collaboration. One user wrote, “BRO WHAT IN THE WORLD JOHNNY SINS DOING IN INDIAN COMMERCIAL WITH RANVEER SINGH (crying emojis).” One Instagram user even wrote, “Yahi dekhna baki tha.”

Despite the unconventional approach, many praised Singh for using his influence to destigmatise discussions around men’s sexual health. Stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhat commended the advertisement for its innovative use of celebrities and its ability to engage a wider audience.

Speaking about the campaign, Ranveer Singh emphasised his commitment to raising awareness and creating a positive impact on men’s sexual health issues. Ranveer said in a statement, “I’m here with sincere intent to use my influence for raising awareness and making a positive impact. The Bold Care campaign is more than talk, it’s a mission that I am deeply connected to, and I am here to bring a change in how we address men’s sexual health, aiming for tangible solutions and millions of lives impacted all across the country.”
