WIF, Sharda University partnership signed

 The World Intellectual Foundation (WIF), a Delhi-based Think-tank and Sharda University on Friday, June 28, formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This historic agreement paves the way for joint research ventures, impactful seminars, conferences, and influential policy recommendations across North Indian states.

NEW DELHI: The World Intellectual Foundation (WIF), a Delhi-based Think-tank and Sharda University on Friday, June 28, formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This historic agreement paves the way for joint research ventures, impactful seminars, conferences, and influential policy recommendations across North Indian states.

 

The signing ceremony, held at Sharda University’s campus in Agra, signifies a concerted effort to integrate academic prowess with practical policymaking to address developmental economics. This initiative underscores the commitment of both institutions to leverage empirical research in shaping public policy decisions and fostering substantial societal advancements.

 

Dr. Rubina Mittal, Director of Research & Innovation at WIF, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing its potential to drive significant contributions to societal progress. “This partnership marks a momentous step for us. We look forward to harnessing the collective strengths of WIF and Sharda University to deliver innovative solutions for societal challenges,” she remarked.

 

Echoing this sentiment, Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Vice-Chancellor of Sharda University, highlighted the partnership’s strategic importance. “We are thrilled to partner with the World Intellectual Foundation. This collaboration holds immense promise for promoting positive social change,” she affirmed. Prof. Ranjan also outlined plans to develop an actionable roadmap that combines WIF’s public policy focus with Sharda University’s robust research capabilities.

The MoU signing event was attended by Mr Basant Gupta, Director of WIF, and Ms Hemangi Sinha, Project Head at WIF, alongside key representatives from Sharda University.

 

Founded in 2021 by Shri Sudhanshu Mittal, WIF is a global non-profit, non-partisan think tank headquartered in New Delhi. It focuses on promoting global peace, prosperity, and sustainability through research and policy advocacy on diverse global issues.

 

This collaboration between WIF and Sharda University is expected to set a precedent for impactful academic partnerships aimed at driving sustainable development and societal well-being through rigorous research and actionable policy initiatives.
