NEW DELHI: An old video of Vin Diesel has resurfaced, where he confessed how he was spellbound by the Indian beauty Deepika Padukone.
At that time, Deepika was often spotted talking about her relationship with Vin. During the Cannes Film Festival, in 2017, she mentioned that Vin was smitten by her. When asked if she was even a bit in love with her ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ co-star, the actress laughed and said, “Excuse me? He’s the one who’s in love with me. Let’s set the record straight. He’s adorable. He’s just the most amazing person I’ve ever met. He’s generous and kind. All the amazing experiences I had were because of him and his faith in me for what I could do for the movie. He is a friend for life.”

Deepika, who made her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel, was applauded by the critics for her performance. People loved the fact that she didn’t fake her accent but bravely spoke in her desi style.

A few months back, Deepika Padukone appeared on the ‘Koffee with Karan’ show where she opened up about her dating life. She said, “I wanted to be single for a while as I had come out of a difficult relationship. I was going through a phase where I said I just wanna be … not be attached and committed, and I just wanna have fun because this is the age too, and then he came along. I didn’t commit until he proposed to me. There was no real commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other. So, I did meet other people but, in my mind, I was committed to him.” Soon the clip went viral on social media, after which the actor was heavily trolled by netizens.
