District Bar Association, Patiala declared ‘no-work post-lunch’ to allow people to watch the T20 World Cup Semifinals for India Vs England on November 10.

A notification was issued to everyone at the DBA that all work will be suspended after-lunch in view of the T20 match where England thrashed India by 10 wickets to seal their spot in the final.

Under the presidency of Adv Jatinder Pal Singh Ghumaan, DBA requested judges to adjourn all cases to some other date.

An emergency meeting was convened ahead of the T20 semi-final of Ind Vs Eng match to discuss this matter.

The notification read, “DBA, Patiala, will observe no work after lunch at the district courts in Patiala".

It said, “all "judicial officers, Revenue Courts, Presiding Officers of Tribunals and Commissioner Court are requested to adjourn the matters listed for today to some other dates".
