Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has appealed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take steps to improve the relationship between the two countries so that India and Pakistan can resume playing cricket matches.
Afridi was referring to the recent decision of the Indian cricket board not to tour Pakistan for the Asia Cup.
He urged the BCCI to take the necessary steps for the betterment of cricket and Pakistan.

Afridi recalled the warm welcome Indian cricketers received from Pakistan fans during their 2005 tour, which he said was a great example of the beauty of both countries.
