R Madhavan Takes Helm at FTII as President and Chairperson

The FTII Society comprises 12 nominees - eight 'Persons of Eminence' and four FTII alumni. Traditionally, the Ministry nominates members, but this changed with Anupam Kher's 2017 appointment

Madhavan's appointment follows this pattern, with other nominations pending. Once 24 members, including 12 ex-officio, are confirmed, they form a Governing Council, Academic Council, and Standing Finance Committee, making vital decisions for the institute
