Pfizer India announces 12-week paternity leave for prospective fathers.

The new policy is for its employees as part of its diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Birthing and non-birthing fathers can avail these leaves over a period of two years.

In a single stretch only two-six weeks maximum of leave can be applied for.

Leave policy includes casual leave, elective holiday, and wellness days.

Shilpi Singh, director - people experience, Pfizer India said this will enable both men and women to invest equal time in essaying their roles and responsibilities as a parent.
