On November 10, three children from Rafi Nagar in Govandi died in a span of 48 hours.

The Bombay Municipal Corporation has alerted all healthcare facility providers to report measles cases.

The families reported that the children had a fever and developed rashes.

Measles is caused by the paramyxovirus family virus. It normally spreads through direct contact and air.
