World’s 8th Richest Man Sees The Reds

Mukesh Ambani on November 13 expressed interest in taking over the English Premier League Football club, Liverpool.

The Anfield-based club may be headed for an Indian takeover, according to The Mirror.

The club was put up for sale by their current owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) on November 7.

Ambani is willing to pay £4 billion for the team so that Liverpool can continue to exist as the continent’s largest football club.

Ambani is already the "World's Richest Sports Team Owner" after buying Mumbai Indians, one of the leading teams playing for the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008.

Ambani's failed 2010 Liverpool takeover bid. This time, he has revived his interest in buying Liverpool after 12 years of the failed takeover bid.
