A Mumbai-based startup, called Liger Mobility unveiled the Liger X and Liger X + scooters at Auto Expo 2023.

The scooters can come to a standstill and remain self--balanced without any support from the rider.

Liger uses AI algorithms to dynamically shift the Center of Gravity of the vehicle in order to ensure that the vehicle stays balanced.

The self-balancing remains enabled for up to 5-7 kmph, increasing riding comfort.

The system goes on standby mode after the 7 kmph threshold and reactivates at lower speeds.

It has a seat height of 765 mm and the electric drivetrain gets a 12-inch hub motor offering a top speed of 65 kmph.

Liger X has been indigenously designed, considering the Indian conditions.

The cost range is Rs 90,000 and above.
