Despite chasing a target of 213 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore, KL Rahul only managed to score 18 runs off 20 balls, which disappointed his fans.

However, the Lucknow Super Giants won the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match with a thrilling last-ball finish, thanks to Marcus Stoinis (65 off 30 balls) and Nicholas Pooran (62 off 19 balls).

Rahul acknowledged that batting at positions 5, 6, and 7 is the toughest in cricket and that the lower order batsmen had played a crucial role in their victory.

With this win, Lucknow Super Giants have gone top of the IPL 2023 standings, while Royal Challengers Bangalore are 7th with just one win in three games and a negative Net Run Rate of -0.800.
