Ben Stokes, the English all-rounder and Test captain, has shared an update ahead of his debut with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 2023 IPL season.
He was bought by CSK for INR 16.25 crore and his fans were excited to see him in yellow.
Stokes posted a picture on his Instagram story which had the image of the Chepauk Stadium and said "Not long until I meet up with everyone", sending CSK fans into a frenzy.
Stokes has previously played for Rising Pune Supergiants and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL
Stokes will reunite with MS Dhoni after six years. Stokes' signing by CSK has coincided with his rise as England's Test captain and some have speculated that he could be Dhoni's successor at CSK.
The fans eagerly await the Stokes-Dhoni reunion, perhaps for the last time as teammates.
