According to a report by The News International, the wealth of Farah Khan, a close friend of Imran Khan's wife, grew over four times during Imran Khan's regime.
Farah and her family were expanding their businesses and registering companies in the UK during this time, with Farah's sister owning several companies.
Serious corruption allegations have been made against Farah and her husband, but Imran Khan has defended them, calling the allegations political victimisation.
The FIA has lodged a case against Farah for money laundering, and the government plans to bring them back to Pakistan through Interpol.
Farah and her husband also availed themselves of the whitening of black money during Imran Khan's government.
