Anuradha Paudwal hates Arijit Singh’s recreation of her son Aaj Phir Tum Pe

Anuradha Paudwal, a popular singer from the 80s and 90s, gets emotional when hearing remixes of her own songs. Anuradha Paudwal was deeply affected by a particular remix that made her cry.

The song in question is "Aaj Phir Tum Pe Pyaar Aaya Hai" from the movie Dayavan. The original song was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal and sung by Paudwal and Pankaj Udhas.

The recreated version of the song was sung by Arijit Singh and Samira Koppikar, with music by Arka. The remix was featured in the erotic thriller Hate Story 2.

She confesses that she is not a fan of the trend of modern-day recreations that often butcher beloved retro tracks.

Paudwal has transitioned to singing bhajans and has become a leading singer in that genre as well. She has sung massively popular songs in movies such as Aashiqui, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Sadak, Dil, Beta, and Saajan.
