8 Disney channels to go off air

The decline in popularity of English GECs began with the implementation of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's (TRAI) NTO in 2019 and was further compounded by viewers shifting to OTT platforms.

Other networks, such as Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI) and Network18, have also shut down channels due to similar reasons.
