A bad ending can ruin an entire movie-watching experience. Unfortunately, some of Bollywood's biggest hits have had terrible endings that left audiences frustrated and disappointed. Here are six popular Bollywood movies that had the most nonsensical endings that we can neither forgive nor forget.
Mohabbatein: The film ends with a ridiculous climax where the strict headmaster of a boarding school, Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan), resigns and appoints an amateur music teacher, Raj (Sharukh Khan), as his replacement. It's hard to imagine what will happen to the school with a lover boy as principal.
Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani: The ending of the movie is cringe-worthy, with Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) running after Naina (Deepika Padukone) because he is jealous of her being with someone else. Even after leaving Naina twice, Bunny has the audacity to come back with a balloon and a cake, and Naina accepts him despite his childish behavior.
Kabir Singh: The film is already problematic, with the lead character being abusive and misogynistic. But the climax makes it even worse. Preeti, who had moved on from Kabir, suddenly gets back together with him after he finds out that she is pregnant with his child.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: The ending of this problematic romance film is disappointing. Anjali goes back to Rahul, the man who treated her poorly, instead of staying with Aman, a caring and understanding man.
Paa: The film ends with a senseless symbolism where Auro's parents get married around his deathbed. The concept of taking pheras around a pyre is insensitive and nonsensical.
Cocktail: The movie ends with a Bollywood stereotype where the "sundar susheel sanskaari ladki" gets married to the boy who cheated on her best friend, while the "un-sanskaari" girl remains alone. It would have been better if Veronica and Meera had left the lying and sexist man, Gautam, alone and patched up.
