Dozens of Mahadalit families are forced to live on street side after their homes submerged in floodwaters in Madhepura. They were rehabilitated by authorities near a river a month ago. Their huts are inundated by waters of overflowing river. They protested against allocation of the floodplains but to no avail. Authorities now plan to shift them to shelter home.
