NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli scores 100th T20 fifty, becoming only the second batsman in history to cross the three-digit mark for half-centuries in T20 cricket — a feat previously achieved only by Australian great David Warner. Kohli reached this milestone during match number 28 of the IPL 2025 against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Batting in the second innings, Kohli smashed a composed half-century off 39 deliveries. This marked his 100th T20 half-century, reinforcing his legacy as one of the finest in the format. Kohli is now the first Indian and the second player overall to achieve this milestone in T20 cricket.
“Breaking records is just a by-product of consistency,” Kohli said in a post-match interview.

As of April 2025, David Warner leads the all-time list with 108 T20 fifties in 398 innings. Close behind is Virat Kohli, now with 100 half-centuries in 386 innings. Babar Azam occupies third place with 90 fifties in 299 innings.

David Warner, who played in the IPL from 2009 to 2024, achieved his 66 fifty-plus scores in 184 matches, amassing 6,565 runs, including 4 centuries and 62 fifties.
Virat Kohli, active from 2008 to 2025, has now scored 8,240 runs in 250 innings, with 8 centuries and 58 fifties — making him the leading run-scorer in IPL history.
