NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli has recently added one more feather to his already-filled cap of achievements by becoming the first batsman to smash 250 sixes for one team in the IPL. In accomplishing this feat, Kohli also rises to the ranks of legendary players, like Chris Gayle, Rohit Sharma, and AB de Villiers. He is one of the only four players to have 250 or more sixes in the IPL. Furthermore, Kohli’s feat saw him surpass Gayle to claim the top spot on the list of most sixes for a single team in T20 cricket. Gayle, who previously held this record with 263 sixes for RCB across various tournaments including the Champions League, now relinquishes the throne to his former teammate.

As he continues to rewrite the record books and push the boundaries of excellence, his legacy as a cricketing icon only grows stronger with each passing milestone.
