Panwar also added that the mental health of the trapped workers is still fairly strong and they are doing well, while two psychiatrists Dr Abhishek and Dr Rohit Gondwal from Dehradun and Uttarkashi, respectively, have also been called to the spot to engage with the trapped workers.
The team had also prepared a report that stated that the mental health of the trapped workers is healthy and stable. It also mentioned that their mental health is strong. On the other hand, another set of 18 doctors are also part of the rescue team who will immediately treat the workers for injuries as and when they escape the collapse site.
The doctors will be stationed at the Uttarkashi tunnel till all workers are rescued.
Presently, the rescue operations have been delayed once again as the auger machine malfunctioned midway while drilling a hole to get the trapped workers out of the tunnel.
The tunnel had collapsed on November 12 and for the past 10 days, there has been continuous effort to get the trapped workers out.
