Union minister Nitin Gadkari on four-day visit to Uttarakhand

Union minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, arrived in Uttarakhand on a four-day private visit on Saturday night.

 He was welcomed by the former chief minister and Haridwar MP Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, along with Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal, Mayor Anita Mamgain and other BJP officials. The Union minister will be in the state till March 7.

 Uttarakhand Finance minister Premchand Aggarwal said, “I had apprised the Union Road and Transport Minister about the problems at the Shyampur railway intersection. We requested the construction of an overbridge on the Raywala Prateet Nagar Road. Union Minister assured positive action on this issue.”

 Union Minister Nitin Gadkari arrived in the village of Badhedi Rajputana in the Bahadarabad region late at night. There, he assessed the preparations for the six-lane Dehradun-Delhi Expressway.

 On Saturday night, Haj Committee member Rao Kala Khan and BJP leader Munesh Saini were also present at the scene in Badhedi Rajputana.

 After assessing the preparations for the Expressway, Nitin Gadkari proceeded towards Rishikesh while passing through Haridwar.

 Technical manager Raghav Tripathi said that Nitin Gadkari inspected the preparations for the six-lane Expressway. “Our efforts will be to complete the Expressway by 2025, for which preparations have already begun in full swing,” Tripathi said.

 During Union Minister Gadkari’s inspection of Expressway, Technical Manager Raghav Tripathi, Project Director Pradeep Goswami, Visual Officer CK Sinha, Senior Manager JL Prasad of KSPCL Company, Site Engineer Navin Rawat, Haj Committee member Raw Kale Khan, former Vidhan Sabha candidate Munish Saini, Raw Ajmat Khan, Aditya Raj Saini, Haji Raw Inam, Ajmal, AADM Vijaynath Shukla, Bahadurabad Station In-charge Nitesh Sharma, Revenue Department Officer Anuj Yadav, Rudki Tehsildar and other officials were present.
