UKSSSC Paper Leak: Uttarakhand Police Nab Six

DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand Police Special Task Force has nabbed six people in connection with the Uttarakhand Subordinate Selection Service Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak case in the Kumaon division in the last 24 hours including a state police constable Amrish Goswami.

The STF has also recovered the amount of ₹35.89 lakhs.

Ajay Singh, state STF chief, said, “Required action is taken in the matter. Further details will be disclosed later.”

The STF has conducted raids in the Kumaon division of the hill state in the last 24 hours.

The investigation into the matter has revealed that the strings of this scam are also connected to Lucknow in the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh.

Interestingly, Google search history has uncovered many important secrets related to the UKSSSC exam paper leak.

Officials from the STF said that the papers were solved on the first night of the exam.

So far nine people, including a ‘Lucknow Printing Press’ employee, have been arrested by STF for the paper leak.

Deepak Chauhan and Bhavesh Jagudi, the accused in the matter who have been arrested, are working on contract as junior assistants at HNB Medical University, Selakui in Dehradun. They used to assist in solving the UKSSSC exam papers.

According to the STF investigation, Deepak and Bhavesh collected lakhs of rupees from Abhishek and took the paper.

They took the exam in UKSSSC, in which Bhavesh got rank in 157th merit, while Deepak failed.
