U’Khand CM Participates In Tiranga Rally

DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday morning participated in a Prabhat Pheri organised under the Har Ghar Tiranga programme at Gandhi Park, Dehradun.

Public representatives, officials of government, administration, police and education department, teachers and students also participated in this Prabhat Pheri organised by the state education department.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “Many campaigns are being organised in the country under the Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The whole country is remembering the revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence. I appeal to all the people of the state to hoist our ‘Tricolour’ national flag from August 13 to 15, under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.”

CM Dhami launched the campaign on August 1, in which the tricolour will be hosted in more than 20 lakh houses in Uttarakhand.

The CM further added that the next 25 years are going to be crucial and important ones in which every Indian should contribute to making our nation great and strong.

“The heroic stories of our revolutionaries and freedom fighters who made their important contributions to the independence of India will continue to inspire our younger generation. Our children are the future of the country,” added the CM.

He further stated that in the year 2025, Uttarakhand will celebrate the silver jubilee of the state’s establishment and till then, the state government aims to make Uttarakhand one of the best states in the country.

“All the departments have been given a target to prepare a 10-year roadmap for the overall development of the state and what important work can be done on the ground in three years,” said the CM.

The CM instructed the state information department to publicise the campaign as much as possible so that more and more people can participate in it.

State education minister Dhan Singh Rawat, who also participated in the rally, said, “Today under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, thousands of people are participating in the tricolour yatra on the soil of Dehradun. A massive awareness campaign is being run for Har Ghar Tiranga from August 13-15.”
