NEW DELHI:- Gulati Hotel, near India Gate in New Delhi, was engulfed in flames early in the morning on Wednesday, July 17. It triggered a swift response from the Delhi Fire Service.

According to officials from the Delhi Fire Service quoted in media reports, the fire started at approximately 2:48 am in the sitting area of the hotel and quickly spread to the first floor. Initial investigations by the police suggest that a short circuit may have caused the blaze, although a thorough probe into the incident is underway.

Four fire tenders were dispatched to the scene to combat the flames, successfully brought under control within an hour of the fire department’s arrival. Despite some furniture and other items being gutted in the fire, fortunately, there were no casualties reported.
