Turf War In Coaching Den: Allen’s Maheshwari Goes After ‘Unprincipled’

KOTA (RAJASTHAN): As institutes welcome IIT aspirants in the new academic session in India’s coaching hub in Rajasthan’s Kota, new market players have intensified the poaching of educators from prestigious, established brands.

Ventures like edutech startup Unacademy have announced plans to launch their offline centres in the coaching town and are going all-out to recruit well-known educators by offering high waves and lucrative perks.

To check the outflow of their talent pool, prestigious institutes like Allen Career Institute have initiated several measures including sops for loyal employees and advice for those jumping ships.

In a video message, Allen Group co-founder said: “Allen has always stood by its loyal employees and we shall continue to do so under any circumstances. They will always be taken care of.”

“Now as people fall prey to lucre, if someone decides to leave Allen Group, he/she should be fully aware that Allen Group’s doors will forever be shut for that individual. He/she would not be taken back into the fold,” Maheshwari added.

“Every time such situations have emerged, Allen has bounced back stronger,” he told his employees, urging them to stay united.
