The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to remove hardline Islamist, anti-semitic, and anti-Hindu representative Ilhan Omar from her seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The newly Republican-majority empowered House ousted Minnesota Democrat over her past controversial remarks about Israel. The vote on the resolution to remove Omar from the committee was 218 to 211 and fell strictly along party lines.

This doesn’t come as a surprise to the world at all because Ilhan Omar has a history of being anti-semitic and defending Islamic terrorists. The high-pitched dramatic speeches given by Democrat friends on the Floor of the House, clips of which are going viral now, will not reveal to the real reason Omar’s expulsion was necessary, not just for the sake of American interest but also for all democracies that are fighting  radical Islamic elements within their own borders.

A known antisemite who has expressed steadfast support for the terrorist group Hamas, Omar defended the 9/11 terrorists by referring to them as “some people doing something”. She is also a proponent of the ‘one- nation’ solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict, which refuses to let Israel exist as a sovereign country.

Omar has also refused to recognise the genocide of Armenian Christians by Muslim Turks.

In 2019, Kuwait-born-Canada-based businessman, Alan Bender, in a testimony to a Florida Court attributed Omar’s meteoric rise to funds being given by Qatari government lobby.

In the same year, the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board ruled that Rep. Ilhan Omar violated state campaign finance rules by improperly using campaign money for out-of-state travel while serving as a state representative. Omar was ordered to reimburse her campaign committee roughly $3,500 along with a $500 civil penalty.

Omar also faces allegations of marrying her own biological brother to bypass the US immigration process. Former President Donald Trump had asked the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate Omar’s marriage to her brother and her subsequent migration to the US illegally.

Omar is believed to be a pawn of the Muslim Brotherhood and Qatar’s rulers. According to media reports, she also has ties with radical Islamic organisations such as Islamic Relief and Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD), the sister organisation of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a Western branch of the Jamaat-e-Islami, a terror group that is banned in India. HHRD also has ties with Islamic terror groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba in Pakistan.

For years now, Ilhan has indulged in propagating anti-India and anti-Hindu narratives, peddling lies about the human rights and freedom of speech situation in India — claiming that Indian Muslims are facing atrocities at the hands of Hindus. With support from other ‘left- liberal’ circles, both in India and the West, Omar has constantly raked up the issue of Kashmir in the US House of representatives with a staunch anti-India and pro-Pakistan stand.

Last year, Omar visited Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), apparently in order to legitimise Pakistan’s occupation of a part of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. Ilhan promised to ‘mainstream’ Pakistan’s concerns with India.

Ilhan received a red-carpet welcome in the terror state of Pakistan, the country where the main perpetrators (Bin Laden & KSM) of the September 11 attacks on U.S. were found.

Omar arrived in the US at the age of 12 in 1995 fleeing the civil war in Somalia. She became a citizen five years later. In November 2016, she won the election for the U.S. Congress.

Outside the Muslim world, Omar is seen as someone running errands for the powerful Islamist lobbies and whose sole aim is to push radical Islam in modern Western societies. Hardline Islamist, anti-Semitic and jihad sympathiser, Omar never deserved to be on such an important House panel. Her removal from House Foreign Affairs Committee was necessary to secure American interests at home and abroad. Better late than never.
