Two terror suspects who were arrested  by the Delhi Police under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) on Thursday, have revealed that they murdered a boy, chopped off his head, made a video of the act and sent it to their Pakistani handler to prove their loyalty. They were also given Rs 2 lakh for their act, said police sources.

The New Indian has accessed the exclusive details of the alleged crime that Naushad Ali, 56 and Jagjit Singh alias Jagga, 29, committed at their rented house in Delhi’s Bhalswa Dairy area on December 16, 2022. Naushad and Jagga dumped the body parts of the youth in the Bhalswa drain in northwest Delhi on the same day, said sources.

They also made a video of the act and sent it to one Pakistan-based Sohail, their supposed handler. They wanted to prove their capacity for brutality and their allegiance. In return, Naushad also received Rs 2 lakh from Sohail in his bank account via his brother-in-law based in Qatar.

Sources said that the police teams were trying to ascertain the identity of the dead boy. Both Jagga and Naushad have revealed that the boy, whom they chose as their target, had once reportedly been involved in throwing stones at a masjid in Jahangirpuri. The duo reportedly used a machete (meat chopper) to kill the boy.

The Delhi Police on Saturday recovered some body parts from the drain. The team of Delhi Police and FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) found traces of blood from the rented house of both the terror suspects in Shradhanand Colony of Bhalswa Dairy area.

The police also recovered two hand grenades from their house which they were planning to use for their terror activities in the coming days.

The Delhi Police Special Cell had arrested Naushad and Jagga from Jahangirpuri on Thursday for their anti-national activities. They have been booked under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) by the Special cell. Three pistols with 22 live cartridges were also recovered from their possession. On Friday, both were produced before the court from where they were sent to 14-day police custody.

Police said Naushad had been associated with terrorist outfit ‘Harkat-ul- Ansar’, has been convicted in two murder cases and undergone 10 years sentence under Explosive Act.

Jagga is a member of notorious ‘Bambiha’ gang and has been getting instructions from anti national elements based abroad to spread the banned Babbar Khalsa terror group activities in India. He is a parole jumper in a case of murder in Uttrakhand.

Naushad had met Sohail in 2011 in Tihar jail. Sohail was later released in 2013 and went to Pakistan. But both remain in touch with each other.

A few days ago, Sohail asked Naushad to do something for ‘Jihad’ and offered him funds. Sohail asked him to target some prominent Hindu leaders and for that Sohail offered a large amount of funds, said sources.

Since Naushad and Jagga made a mutual deal that they will help each other in their work and therefore both committed the crime together.
