Terrorists Killed Non-Local Labourer In Pulwama

SRINAGAR: A non-local labourer was killed and two others injured after terrorists hurled a grenade in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Thursday evening.

The incident took place in the Gadoora area of Pulwama when at least two terrorists hurled a grenade at them. The slain labourer is a resident of Bihar.

“#Terrorists hurled grenade on outside labourers at Gadoora area of #Pulwama. In this #terror incident, one labourer died and two others were injured. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice (sic).” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted soon after the incident.

In another Tweet, Police identified the slain labourers and injured ones, “#TerrorIncidentUpdate: The deceased outside labourer has been identified as Mohd Mumtaz S/O Mohd Jaloo R/O Sakwa Parsa, Bihar. Injured have been identified as Mohd Arif S/O Mohd Aziz & Mohd Majbool S/O Mohd Arif, residents of Rampor, Bihar. Both are Stable. @JmuKmrPolice (sic).”

The incident took place hours before the third anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 and the bifurcation of J&K into the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
