Taj reaches Ayodhya: Lucknow’s Ladhani, who set up Coca Cola in Amethi, signs up Tata’s 29th UP hotel

NEW DELHI: The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), South Asia’s largest hospitality group, has announced the signing of a new resort in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, under its Gateway brand.

The greenfield project, spread over 1.56 acres, is set to elevate Ayodhya’s appeal as a prominent spiritual and leisure destination.

The 150-key Gateway, Ayodhya will offer guests a blend of luxury and immersive experiences.

The resort will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, and wellness facilities, including a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a holistic spa.

For events and meetings, the property will provide a spacious banquet hall and dedicated meeting rooms.

This addition will bring IHCL’s portfolio in Uttar Pradesh to 29 hotels, including 16 under development.
