He has been lodged in jail number 1, which is inhabited by some dreaded gangsters like Sunil Mann alias Tillu and east Delhi gangster Nassir. The jail officials said that they have beefed up the security as dreaded criminals are also lodged in the same jail.

Goel has been accused of according undue favours to jailed Delhi minister Satyendar Jain. He is also accused of getting protection money from conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
