Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s sexist remarks on women and population control have sparked outrage and condemnation from various quarters. His apology is not enough to undo the damage and disrespect caused by his vulgar and misogynistic language. He should be held accountable for his words and actions, and set an example of dignity and decorum in public life. Sexist remarks have no place in our political discourse or in any sphere of public life.
