Government to strengthen India’s MRO Industry: Announces unification of GST slabs

Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Rammohan Naidu, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating a robust environment for domestic and international airlines to access world-class Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities in India.

On Monday, the Civil Aviation Ministry reported that 22,615 passengers were impacted by the closure of Delhi Airport’s Terminal 1 after its roof collapsed on Friday. The aviation ministry also stated that 9,972 passengers with tickets on IndiGo (9,431) & SpiceJet (9541) flights have been refunded. However, refunds for 196 passengers are still pending.
