The New Indian's Alok Singh speaks to the neighbors of Nidhi, ‘friend’ of Delhi hit-and-run victim. As criticism against Nidhi for fleeing the accident spot mounted, her family locked themselves inside their home. She was accompanying Anjali when their scooter was hit by a Baleno car on the night of New Year's Eve.

Family says they did not know Nidhi before the fateful accident.
