Road Connectivity: ₹26,000 crore will be invested in major road projects, including the Patna-Purnea Expressway, Buxar-Bhagalpur Expressway, and spurs to Bodhgaya, Rajgir, Vaishali, and Darbhanga. A new two-lane bridge over the Ganges at Buxar is also part of this plan.

Modi takes oath for historic third term, inducts 72 ministers into new cabinet

President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath to PM Modi, followed by senior leaders Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and Nitin Gadkari. Notable ministers who retained their positions from the previous Cabinet include JP Nadda, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Nirmala Sitharaman, S. Jaishankar, and Manohar Lal Khattar.

Nitish Kumar’s JDU is currently leading in 12 seats, with the NDA also leading on 12 seats, while the INDIA bloc is ahead in 8. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) holds the highest vote share in the state with 22.5% of the total votes polled.
