Japan Earthquake

The quake, which hit shortly before 8 am local time on Wednesday, April 3, caused significant damage and casualties, with reports of collapsed buildings and numerous injuries.

Reports indicate that tsunami waves, possibly reaching up to 5 meters high, are expected to hit several prefectures. Coastal highways have been closed, and bullet trains have been suspended as precautionary measures.
