The DM said that upon obtaining the report from concerned Tehsildar and after perusal of Revenue Record pertaining to the above properties, it was found that these properties are owned by and / are under possession of banned Jamaat-e-Islami association through their members.

In an effort to dismantle terror networks, the J&K State Investigation Agency (SIA) seized properties of the banned Jama’at-e-Islami.

The action would uproot the menace of terror funding to a great extent in UT of J&K besides being a stepping stone in ensuring rule of law & a society without fear.

Several schools affiliated with the Falah-e-Aam trust, an affiliate of the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), were searched by the State Investigation Agency (SIA) of J&K police in four districts of Kashmir on Tuesday.
