A 60-year-old woman lost her life while seeking a cure for her grandson's fits on the evening of July 2, in the stampede that occurred during Satsang of Narayan Sakar Hari popularly known as Bhole baba. 

"In that crowd, some people from Etah had come drunk; I even scolded them for coming intoxicated to a holy place like a satsang. But they incited the stampede," recounted Pushpa Devi, one of the survivors.

Two sisters missing in the Hathras stampede incident were found by unknown persons and taken to their house. They were further then taken to the Sikandra Rao Trauma Center in Hathras for further treatment. When asked who had dropped them off, the survivor Taramati said, “We were unconscious. We didn't know where we were. When I briefly regained consciousness, I told them the address of my granddaughter, so they dropped us off, but we don’t know who dropped us.”
