During the court hearing, Kejriwal stated: "There has been no corruption in making policies or implementing policies. The corruption occurred in the investigation by the ED."

K Kavitha told the media that her arrest was politically motivated and urged the Election Commission to intervene, noting the arrest of several political leaders during elections. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is already in ED custody, raising the possibility of confrontation between the two leaders.
He made this remark during the hearing at Rouse Avenue Court, where Kejriwal is represented by Abhishek Manu Singhvi.
