NEW DELHI: Supreme Court on Tuesday rapped Youtuber Ranveer Allahbadia for his offensive remarks during a provocative comedy show by Samay Raina, saying the 31-year-old man has a dirty mind which he vomited out in India’s Got Latent.

Both Allahabadia and Raina are wanted by Mumbai and Assam Police after the cops registered a police case under BNS sections of IT Act and use of obscenity and vulgarity in their content.

The apex court, while disapproving of Allahabadia remarks, told the petitioner’s lawyer,” You need to go off the show business for some time.”

The top court also said “popularity cannot be a a license to just say anything”.

The top court also said,” Ranveer will not leave the country without the court’s permission,” while directing him to “submit his passport at the police station”

SC, however, gave him some reprieve, while ordering protection from any immediate arrest. Both Allahbadia and Raina have not been appearing for Mumbai police during despite summons being served upon them.

While Allahbadia has locked his home in Khar, Raina is maintaining that he is out of country.
