‘Bond’ donor TDP MP told lies to ED on Kejriwal to save son: Sunita

New Delhi: Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, released a video on Saturday claiming that Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy (MSR) was coerced by government agencies to change his statement to frame her husband in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam. She alleged that MSR did this to protect his son.

Sunita stated that MSR, an NDA MP from Andhra Pradesh, had his premises raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on September 17, 2022. When asked if he had met Arvind Kejriwal, MSR said he had met him on March 16, 2021, at the Delhi Secretariat to discuss opening a family charitable trust. Kejriwal informed him that the land was with the LG and advised him to apply.

“However, the ED was dissatisfied with MSR’s response and subsequently arrested his son, Raghav Magunta. Despite repeated questioning, MSR maintained his original statement. Raghav’s bail was denied multiple times, and during this period, MSR’s daughter-in-law attempted suicide, causing her mental health to deteriorate,” Sunita said in the video.

She added that due to his son’s condition, MSR changed his statement on July 17, 2023, claiming he had only met Kejriwal briefly in the presence of 10-12 people, questioning how anyone could ask for money in such a setting.

Sunita asserted that MSR was tortured for five months and gave a false statement under duress to save his son. The court acknowledged that MSR’s statement was obtained under pressure.

Sunita Kejriwal is urging the public to share this video widely to expose what she claims is a political conspiracy against her husband. She believes that Kejriwal is a victim of a deep political conspiracy orchestrated by Modi, using the ED and CBI to undermine him and the Aam Aadmi Party.
