In yet another letter to Delhi LG VK Saxena, jailed conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has alleged that he and his partner Leena Maria Paul are being threatened by jail administration and demanded to be shifted out of Tihar jail.
In a letter written on November 7, Sukesh alleged that jail officials have threatened him for his allegations of corruption against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and minister Satyendar Jain, who is also lodged in the same jail.
“Mysterious deaths have been very common in Delhi jails for example (the murder of) Ankit Gujjar. As my matter involves the chief minister and the health minister, I and my wife are completely not safe in the hands of Delhi jail,” he wrote in his third letter to the lieutenant governor.
In the letter, he wrote: “For the last one week after my complaint to your good office in regards to AAP and its leaders Mr Arvind Kejriwal and Kailash Gehlot and Satyender Jain, I have been receiving severe threats of all forms from jail administration which is directed by Mr Jain and Mr Kejriwal. Now the investigation will begin and I hold very important evidence against them, and they are very well aware of it and will go to any extent to cause harm to me and my wife Leena Paul who is lodged in jail number 16.”
Arrested in Rs 200 crores extortion case, Sukesh had earlier alleged that AAP chief Kejriwal took ₹50 crores from him in lieu of a Rajya Sabha seat. He also alleged that Kejriwal also took his help to expand the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in South India.
In his earlier two letters, the conman accused minister Jain and former Tihar jail DG Sandeep Goel of taking money to give him preferential treatment in the jail. After his letter, Goel was transferred out of jail. He had demanded an enquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into his allegations.
Jain is also lodged in Tihar jail in a case of alleged corruption.
“For the last 24 hours, the jail superintendent and other officials are putting an immense amount of pressure on me and harassing me. Apart from this, Mr Satyender Jain is sending me offers for compromise, which if I fail to accept, I and my wife will be tortured to death,” he wrote.
Sukesh further said: “Deputy superintendent of jail 16, Dinesh, is threatening my wife to ask me to withdraw all charges against AAP. Dinesh previously received ₹5 lakhs as protection money.”
He further said all jail administration is being controlled by Jain and Kejriwal.
He said he should be transferred to their close by states which are not controlled by AAP till the completion of the investigations.
