Success of special mutation camps encourage Punjab govt to schedule another one

NEW DELHI: The triumph of the special mutation camps held on January 6 has prompted Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to announce the organisation of similar camps across the state on January 15.

Expressing his satisfaction with the response received during the camps conducted on Saturday, the CM highlighted the overwhelming support from the public. These camps, strategically organised in all Tehsils and Sub-Tehsils complexes, provided significant benefits to the citizens, according to a statement issued by Mann on Sunday. He emphasised that these camps played a crucial role in swiftly resolving pending mutation cases, offering a substantial relief to the people.

Mann disclosed that over 31,000 pending mutation cases were successfully resolved during these camps, marking a milestone achievement. He underlined the historic nature of this feat, emphasising that such a significant number of cases had never been addressed in a single day before through these camp initiatives.

Revenue Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa disclosed that a total of 31,538 pending mutation cases found resolution during the special camps conducted in tehsils and sub-tehsils throughout the state. He personally inspected several camps at Hoshiarpur, Phagwara, Phillaur, as well as Tehsils in Ludhiana West, Ludhiana East, and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar to oversee the ongoing progress.

The AAP CM hailed this as the commencement of a new era where citizens receive essential services seamlessly, without encountering any inconvenience.

Committing to ongoing initiatives catering to the welfare of the populace, Mann assured that the state government would persist in conducting pro-people programs in the future. He confirmed the scheduling of a similar camp on January 15 across the state to expedite the resolution of pending cases.

Urging citizens to make the most of these camps, he emphasised the government’s dedication to delivering effective, responsive, and transparent administration for the people’s benefit.
