NEW DELHI: The wedding of Anant Ambani, son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant transformed into a star-studded affair as prominent sports heroes like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, and Srikanth attended the event. Celebrities from India and around the world gathered in Mumbai for the grand celebration at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex on Friday night.
India’s recent triumph in the T-20 Cricket World Cup added extra joy to the festivities. A rare video clip showed legendary former India captain MS Dhoni, known for his twin World Cup victories, dancing, much to the delight of fans.

In the video, Sachin Tendulkar, upon seeing Big B, tried to touch his feet as a sign of respect, but Bachchan stopped him, warmly holding his hand instead. Abhishek Bachchan, also present, shared a heartfelt hug with the cricket legend.
International cricket stars Dwayne Bravo, Sam Curran, and Graeme Smith also attended, ensuring that the cricketing world was well represented. Dhoni’s family, including his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva, accompanied him, adding to the charm of the event.
Bollywood and cricket celebrities mingled and celebrated together, showcasing a perfect blend of entertainment and sports. Indian cricket stars such as Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Ajinkya Rahane, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Shreyas Iyer were among the notable attendees.
Hardik Pandya, a key player in India’s T-20 World Cup victory, was seen dancing with Bollywood actress Ananya Panday. Pandya’s performance in the World Cup final, where he took crucial wickets to secure India’s victory, was fresh in everyone’s minds.
