LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party founder and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav’s wife Sadhna Yadav on Saturday died at a private hospital in Harayana’s Gurugram.
Samajwadi Party spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary in a statement condoled the death of the party founder’s wife and said that Sadhna Yadav breathed her last at the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
Sadly received the news of the demise of Sadhna Yadav, wife of the elder politician and Samajwadi leader Mulayam Singh Yadav. Sincere condolences to Mulayamji, family, Akhilesh, all well- wishers.

He said that she was ill for the last couple of days and was undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Condoling the death of Sadhna Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “The news of the death of Sadhnaji, wife of former Chief Minister of the State Mulayam Singh Yadavji is extremely sad. My condolences are with the bereaved family members. May Lord Shri Ram grant the departed soul a place at his feet and give strength to his family members to bear the loss.”
Sukhbir Singh Badal, president of the Shiromani Akali Dal took to Twitter and condoled the death.
He said, “Saddened to hear about the demise of Sadhna Gupta Ji, wife of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji. Sincere condolences to Yadav family & well-wishers.”
