Singh revealed that the visa was issued in Guangzhou City, China after his family faced difficulties in securing it. The consular officer, Shambhu Haki, who handled the case, emphasized that it was the first time the consulate had issued a visa on a Sunday. Singh thanked the PMO for its swift action, noting that it was the fast response that made the difference in ensuring that his family could participate in the crucial event.

Speaking to The New Indian, Singh said “I reached out to the PMO, and the very same day, we received a response. Smriti Irani Ji played a key role in expediting the process,” Singh shared. His public gratitude was first expressed in a tweet, where he thanked both Prime Minister Modi and the PMO team. Singh’s message read, “Dear Beloved PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, with immense gratitude, I thank you and the @PMOIndia team for your timely intervention in resolving the visa issue for our family.”
Singh’s statement highlighted the importance of this gesture in reinforcing his faith in the leadership’s responsiveness and commitment to the welfare of its citizens.
