NEW DELHI: Social media influencer Uorfi Javed, found herself entangled in a recurrent struggle as her Instagram account faced suspension once again, purportedly due to non-compliance with community guidelines. This came merely weeks after the actress shared the news of her account’s suspension on December 3.
Expressing her frustration, Uorfi took to Instagram to pen a strongly worded note outlining the challenges she has been grappling with. “How my 2023 looked like. My account is facing major glitches, deactivated twice in a week,” she lamented, sharing screenshots of the notifications from Instagram that her posts violated guidelines.
The actress detailed the perplexing situation, stating, “Every day I get a notification that my post has violated guidelines, and then again, it’ll be reposted. Every time I post something, the number of followers will go down significantly, then increase again, and then again go down. It’s like a roller coaster (this account). Idk what to feel and how to react.”

Earlier this month, Uorfi had promptly shared a screenshot revealing that her account was disabled “by mistake,” within minutes of her initial announcement of the suspension.
Instagram typically suspends accounts found to be sharing content that contravenes the platform’s guidelines, encompassing various prohibitions such as nudity, self-harm, and hate speech. The platform has established these rules to cultivate a safe and positive community for its users. Violations may incur consequences ranging from content removal and warnings to temporary or, in severe cases, permanent account suspension.

Known for her bold and unconventional fashion choices, Uorfi often interacts with paparazzi at various locations in Mumbai. Despite facing online hate and criticism, she confronts trolls head-on by naming and shaming them.
